Tasting Notes: This wine has a dark cherry colour. Merlot is bringing a black fruit aroma of blueberry and blackberry whilst the Syrah is adding the spice and the freshness to this interesting blend. The palate is well structure with fine tannins and subtle fruit flavour.

Food Pairing: This wine pairs perfectly with grilled meat dishes cooked with a sweet marinade or baste such as barbecued ribs. It also works well when consumed with goat’s cheese or with a well-matured hard cheese. Strongly flavoured vegetarian dishes based on dark Portabella mushrooms and roast or baked aubergines. Recommended served at 18-20°C.
