Tasting Notes: A Fermented in French barrel and aged 10 months on lees. This wine has developed a beautiful complexity. It is showing some minerals with white truffle, hazelnut, smokiness and some woody character. The palate is round with a creamy structure, medium balanced body but still with a fresh finish.
Region: Denizli, Turkey.
Food Pairing: This wine pairs perfectly with fine rich fish such as turbot, grilled veal chops with mushrooms, late summer vegetables such as red peppers, corn, butternut squash and pumpkin. Cheddar cheese is also a great pairing for this rich barrel fermented Chardonnay. Recommended served at 7-10 °C.
